About Salikin Journal

Salikin Journal is a blog platform dedicated to exploring and preserving the depth of Islamic tradition through thoughtful, scholarly content. The name Salikin here refers to seekers — those on the path of learning and understanding — not as a claim of spiritual rank, but as a reminder of our shared journey toward knowledge and truth.

Here, you’ll find articles focused on Qur’an, Kalam, Usul, Islamic History, Akhlaq, and both theoretical and practical mysticism (Irfan).

Our aim is not only to share structured reflections and articles, but also to:

  • Offer insights grounded in in-person or online Hawza study and lived experience
  • Translate excerpts from significant but untranslated books
  • Present biographies and insights on the lives of the Urafa from Farsi sources not yet available in English

We are a small team of Hawza students, striving in the light of salvation — sharing knowledge as seekers, not authorities. This work is entirely educational and non-profit, created with the intention to enlighten ourselves and others who seek to grow in faith, understanding, and spirituality.

If you:

  • Have feedback, recommendations, or would like to support us in maintaining the platform
  • Or if you’re a student, scholar, or reflective writer who would like to contribute articles
